Hooker Stainless headers fit question

Curious if anyone has installed these stainless Hookers on a SBC w/out AC. *HOK-2451-2HKR [stainless]* I have a stock 350 [+/- 82 block], left side ps pump on a Groves bracket that avoids the head mount, rt. side alternator @ +/- 10 oclock. Also converted to a 700R4, left hand eng. oil...

I will be helping a guy work on his holley 4175 carb will most of the parts for a 3310 jets, power valves, pump cams be the same' It looks to be fairly easy to tune are there any draw back to the 4175 series carb other then not being square'

i have a big block that i have no need for anymore the numbers are 3855961 and i was wondering what it was worth , it has a steel crank and i think 11 to 1 or 11.5 to 1 pistons, it does have open chamber heads heads with it but have no numbers on them at the moment, it is all in good shape but...

vacuum advance problem

I have a sbc 350 and i am having trouble with my vacuum advance. Every time i plug the vacuum advance into the distributor then run the motor the motor sounds like it is at a real low idle and might be misfiring. But when i plug the vacuum advance to time the motor the motor idles fine at 10...

Has anyone purchased a remanufactured carb from Summit or Jegs' There website photos look like they're a silver finish, not gold like the original. Are they silver or gold finish' Thanks, Rich
